Founded in the heart of Greensboro, NC, we witnessed too many brilliant local businesses struggle in the digital landscape, not because they lacked talent or passion, but because they were stuck competing for scraps beneath the canopy instead of breaking through to the sunlight.
That’s when we decided to change the game. We built Canopy to help businesses stop worrying about their competitors and start focusing on their fullest potential.

You might recognize Jonathan as the GSO local musician J Timber. But before you hear the music, you should know the story behind it.
Born in Queens, New York and raised in Greensboro, JT has spent years watching local businesses come and go, brilliant entrepreneurs with incredible products and services who simply couldn’t break through the digital noise. That cycle needed to end.
Rooted in the West Indian proverb “One Hand Don’t Clap,” JT founded Canopy Marketing Agency with a clear mission: uplift the entrepreneurs around him, and in turn, uplift the entire community. He believes that quality work shouldn’t be a one-time transaction, it should be a foundation for years of growth.
JT brings the same passion, creativity, and rhythm to digital marketing that he brings to music, helping businesses find their voice and amplify it across every platform where customers are searching.
